Diesel Technic UK & Ireland partner Majorsell, a leading UK distributor of quality air brake components and commercial vehicle parts, is celebrating its 40th anniversary, with excellent customer service and a ‘can do’ attitude the key to its continued success.

For Diesel Technic UK & Ireland, 2020 also marks a significant milestone, five years since the opening of its dedicated UK operation. Although both companies had planned events to celebrate the occasion with customers, employees and partners, the current restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic has seen more low key celebrations.

Majorsell’s Managing Director, Deborah Burrows, puts the company’s unswerving commitment to customer service at the heart of its continued success, with support from like-minded brands such as DT Spare Parts.

Deborah says: “Founded forty years ago by my father Arthur Turner, Majorsell has always been built around the customer and we are very proud to stay true to those values today. We only deal with brands we can trust and won’t cause warranty issues, which is why we looked to work with Diesel Technic when we expanded into truck parts six years ago. We knew the quality and we knew it was a brand that would sell in the UK, and with perfect timing, Diesel Technic set up its UK facility in 2015. Today our customers know and actively ask for DT Spare Parts.”

The hub of the business is Majorsell’s 20,000 sq ft West Bromwich-based facility, which is busy supporting its UK and International customers during these challenging times, keeping stock levels high throughout the pandemic. To support Majorsell, Diesel Technic UK & Ireland is assisting with stock management. “Mark Todd and the team at Diesel Technic share our vision, invest in local stock; we can’t sell it if it’s not on the shelf.”

Preparing for Brexit is part of the plan, with Diesel Technic UK & Ireland building a buffer of fast movers to balance the range and cover any issues over the first six months of 2021.
